Shortly after finding her lump, Cat began blogging as an occasional emotional outlet. She'd found it difficult to not only talk to anyone but find someone who could relate to her worries.

As time passed and treatments began, the blog began to serve as a way to keep close family and friends updated with her journey. The posts began to dwindle as she'd found women to share her thoughts with on BreastCancer.org and Young Survival Coalition.

With the opening of Beautiful Grim, she now shares her blog with the hopes of relaying her experiences as a twenty-something year old with breast cancer.
